Clubhouse

Hilton Head National officially opened on November 1, 1989. The site, adorned with natural wildlife, live oak hammocks, and native flora, serves as an active sanctuary. Weed and Player, recognizing the significance of a balanced course, designed the front nine and back nine, respectively. Gary Player attests, “Hilton Head National is my commitment to delivering an exceptional golf experience!”

The course challenges both amateurs and professionals with five sets of tee boxes strategically positioned. While the greens are generously sized, they maintain a moderate undulation. Notably, Hilton Head National distinguishes itself by the absence of homes on the golf course, having been carved from untouched low-country forests. The surrounding property adjacent to the fairways remains in its natural and pristine state.

The clubhouse, spanning approximately 5,000 square feet, encompasses a golf shop, restaurant, and lounge. Adjacent to the clubhouse, visitors find well-appointed practice facilities, including a spacious driving range and putting green.
